This, of course is a bit of pre publicity for the proposed mass protest at the Tory annual conference in Birmingham on 3rd October 2010. Crippen gives his permission for any group or individual organising against the cuts to freely use this cartoon
Is there information somewhere about who's organising the mass protest?
Mind you, if we all turn up to protest, people will say that if we can protest, we can work, and if we can get dressed and mobilise to the protest, we don't need DLA.
For those who need alt text: The cartoon shows a crowd of protesters holding placards with slogans including "Leave disabled alone" "No more cuts". Looking down on them are two men dressed in blue, in front of a sign saying "Conservative Party Annual Conference Oct 2010". One man says to the other "It's ok David, I've told the americans that the protesters have weapons of mass destruction, so they're going to bomb them for us!"
