ReplyDeleteGreat vlog, thanks, and I totally agree, especially the part about not only being recipients of charity, as if your (or your loved one's) life is somehow over other than "getting benefits". That people with disability aren't still involved in life, or are somehow less valuable than "normal" people.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's always mystified me why more people don't realise how little money most benefits are, and how limited that can make someone's choices. I agree that most people wouldn't make that choice if other options are available. The way society treats benefits and disability all round is just crap.
